Choliya or Hara Chana is a vibrant little ingredient that you can use to jazz up the simplest of curries. Our Choliya Paneer recipe is so yummy that it can easily turn an ordinary meal into a feast!
 
Ingredients:
1 CUP ONION
1 CUP TOMATO
2 TBSP OIL
1 BAY LEAF
1 TSP CUMIN SEEDS
1 TSP GINGER GARLIC PASTE
1 CUP CHOLIYA
SALT TO TASTE
1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER
1 TSP RED CHILLI POWDER
1/2 TSP NUTMEG POWDER
200G PANEER
50ML WATER
1 TSP GARAM MASALA
 
Method:
Place the onion and tomato in a mixie jar and grind to a fine paste.
Heat oil in a wok, and add bay leaf, cumin seeds, and add the onion-tomato paste.
add ginger garlic paste and cook until oil is released from the paste.
Now add the choliya, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, nutmeg powder and saute.
Add the paneer chunks and mix well.
Add water, mix well and cook until the gravy is ready.
Finally add garam masala and serve the sabzi while hot.
