संसद के विशेष सत्र के दूसरे दिन पक्ष-विपक्ष के सांसद एक साथ नजर आए। पुराने संसद भवन में मेनका गांधी का विशेष भाषण हुआ, इस भाषण के दौरान सोनिया गांधी भी मेज थपथपाती हुई नजर आईं। मेनका गांधी ने अपने भाषण में जब बेटी बचाओ-बेटी पढ़ाओ का जिक्र किया तब सोनिया का ये रिएक्शन देखने को मिला। मेनका गांधी ने कहा- मैंने अपना ज्यादातर जीवन इस संस्थान में बिताया है और मैंने 7 प्रधानमंत्रियों और एक भव्य इतिहास को आकार लेते हुए देखा। मेनका और सोनिया का ये वीडियो अब सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हो रहा है। On the second day of the special session of Parliament, MPs from both sides were seen together.
