मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने जालोर के सांचौर को जिला बनाने के बाद पहली बार सांचौर पहुंचे थे। सीएम ने अपने भाषण मे गहलोत सरकार की विभिन्न जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं का ज़िक्र करते हुए ज्यादा से ज्यादा लाभ लेने की बात कही। सीएम गहलोत ने सांचौर से पेपर माफियों को ललकारते हुए बोला कि हमारी सरकार मे पेपर लीक के कांड हुए लेकिन हमने पूरे प्रकरण को गंभीरता से लेते हुए उनको पकड़कर जेल में डाला, सीएम गहलोत ने मंत्री सुखराम विश्नोई से कहते हुए आगे बोले कि चार पांच पेपर आपके क्षेत्र से भी थे उनको ललकारते हुए बोले कि तुम सुधर जाओ वर्ना जेल में सड़ोगे बेरोजगारों के पेट पर लात मारकर अच्छा नहीं कर रहे हो। सीएम आगे बोले कि अगर आपको विकसित ओर संपन्न राजस्थान चाहिए तो आपको सरकार रिपीट करने मे सहयोग करना होगा ,सीएम अशोक गहलोत ने कहां कि सरकार के विरूद्ध ठेकेदार हड़ताल पर थे वो अब वापस काम पर लौट चुके हैं। अब मैं उनको कहना चाहूंगा कि आप दुगुनी शक्ति से काम करो और राजस्थान में सड़कों का जाल बिछा दो।मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने जालोर व सांचौर में किये गये विकास कार्यों का ज़िक्र करते हुए बोला कि हमने आपके क्षेत्र में जो मांगा वो तो दिया ही साथ साथ बिना मांगे भी बहुत कुछ दिया है आपके सांचौर को जिला बना दिया है अब यहां कलेक्टर व एसपी बैठेंगे ओर आपके काम आसान होंगे मेरी जानकारी में आया कि यहां पर ओर स्कूलों की जरूरत है आपकी मांग जायज है। मैं उसको पूरी करूंगा। वहीं सीएम अशोक गहलोत ने मंच से देवनारायण छात्रावास व राजीव गांधी के नाम से नवगठित पंचायत राजीव नगर में 33 केवी सबग्रिड स्टेशन लगाने की घोषणा की है। Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had reached Sanchore for the first time after Jalore made Sanchore a district. CM further said that if you want a developed and prosperous Rajasthan, then you will have to cooperate in repeating the government, CM Ashok Gehlot said that the contractors were on strike against the government, they have now returned to work. Now I would like to tell them to work with double the power and lay a network of roads in Rajasthan. Referring to the development works done in Jalore and Sanchore, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that we have given what we asked for in your area. Along with giving a lot without asking, your Sanchore has been made a district, now collector and SP will sit here and your work will be easy. I came to know that more schools are needed here, your demand is justified. I will fulfill it. On the other hand, CM Ashok Gehlot has announced to set up a 33 KV subgrid station in the newly formed Panchayat Rajiv Nagar in the name of Devnarayan Hostel and Rajiv Gandhi.
